My LinkedIn account has let me know that I have been a Content Creator at Yours Humanly for six months now!

Yours Humanly is nonprofit organization that helps give children all around the world access to education. I was in love with their mission, as I have been fortunate enough to do some world traveling myself and have seen firsthand how education has impacted the lives of many.

When I saw their listing for a social media position it felt like a sign, as it goes so well with my major (Interactive Media) and minor (International Relations).

My goal has been to showcase the amazing work this nonprofit does through creative content being posted weekly. I am also a part time blogger for their blog as well.

I have learned so much from the experience of working with this organization. There has been a lot of trial-and-error and I am thankful for the CEO, Sunny, who has been patient with me and has allowed me to learn as I go. His encouragement motivates me to do my best and I am so happy whenever he lets me know of comments he has received about my posts.

In the past few months, a few other volunteers have joined us and it has been a great experience to work together with the different fields to come up with new ideas on how to further spread the message of this organization’s mission.
